Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Occasionally, we are asked for material safety data sheets (MSDS) for I-Joists manufactured by International Beams Inc. (IB). IB I-Joists are an assembled engineered wood product comprised of lumber flanges, OSB webs and cured adhesive.
- OSB---The OSB may be from two different sources: Grant or Norbord.
- Adhesive---The adhesive used is by Ashland and consists of a two-part Isoset adhesive system. IB uses this two-part Isoset adhesive in all joints: flange fingerjoints, web-to-web joints, and web-to-flange joints.
